Illustrative fee calculator

Enter a hypothetical provider GPU-hour rate and usage. This is not a live quote, availability check, tax estimate, or financial forecast.

Payment, network, verification, storage, tax, and support costs are not included. If usage is refunded, fee revenue should be reversed.

// 01

Proposed take rate

Start with a 2% marketplace fee on completed, undisputed compute usage for pilot buyers and providers; consider a published 3% standard fee only after delivery and support costs are measured. A 2% pilot fee is viable only if collection and payout costs are negotiated, passed through transparently, or paid through a cheaper compliant rail; cap the pilot if its contribution is negative. The fee is not the same as net profit margin.

// 02

Pass-through costs

Show provider price, platform fee, chain fees, payment/FX costs, data transfer or storage, and applicable taxes separately. Never hide egress or verification expense inside a supposedly flat GPU-hour rate.

// 03

Failure accounting

Do not charge a platform fee for refunded or undelivered usage. Include a reserve for disputes and operational support in actual unit economics. If costs exceed fee revenue, the pilot should be capped rather than subsidized indefinitely.

// Straight answers

Questions, answered.

Is 2% your current fee?

No. It is a proposed pilot policy, subject to actual supplier contracts, payment costs, legal review, and operational validation.

Does a 2% take rate mean 2% profit?

No. Net margin is lower after support, settlement, refunds, verification, infrastructure, and acquisition costs.
